I talked about this issue with a friend several days ago through qq. At first, I just interested in what are the differences between realism and idealism, but after I thought for a while, it turned out to be a little complex. Why you say someone is realism while another one is idealism, do you have your reasons for that? Am I an idealist completely? What are the influences?
I think there aren't completely idealists or realists. I am always called an idealist, but I think sometimes I am not idealism like that. I think there are several ranks between realism and idealism, like 1,2,...,10, maybe I'm right at the 6 or 7, if we say that the bigger the number is towards idealism. Of course, it's not good to be at the 2 extremes; one maybe pessimistic if he is at the small extreme, while get too optimistic at the big extreme. So it is important to find an equation between realism and idealism, to think more and to take others' advises while making a right choice.
